Feral & stray cats tend to find their way to me. A sweet tuxedo showed up in fall 2012. I named him Orca and did TNR on him, (trap, neuter, release). He now walks right in and has charmed his way into the good graces of my indoor cats, eating his meals alongside them, then playing w/their toys. He then runs off. I suspect he'll be moving in when the winter comes! Next was Peaches, a white and orange adult tomcat. Sweet and very affectionate. I TNR'd him also. My cats are afraid of him and wont accept him coming inside. Im working on that and hope he will at least be able to com in on winter nights.
The latest additions are 3 kittens . One is about 6 months old, another tuxedo and 2 ( I assume her kittens) are probably about 10-12 weeks. They are all eating well twice a day and live comfortably in cat beds under my house. This fall I will winterize further, lining the ground under house w/straw and adding polar fleece & more beds.
Peaches had a severly inflamed eyes a few days ago. The vet flushed it out and its fine now. Quite a relief for Peaches AND myself as it was painful to look at.
Now, to relocate the EXTREMELY loud frogs in my mini pond, just outside bedrm window !
